What's Happening in FQHCs
Wheeler Clinic's Infection Prevention Fair
On 3/4/2020, Wheeler Clinic conducted an Infection Prevention Skills Fair based on the "Train-the Trainer IP Fair" CHCACT hosted in February.
30 staff members from Wheeler participated in this event which included stations such as Hand Washing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Bloodborne Pathogens/Spills. Feedback from the staff is that they loved the event. (Photos on our website).

Chronic Pain & Addictions Project ECHO - meets every 1st & 3rd Friday of each month from 12pm-1:30pm via Zoom Video conference. For any questions please contact Christina DelVecchio at cdelvecchio@chcact.org.
CQC Diabetes Cohort - meetings will be every 3rd Thursday from 1pm to 2pm via Zoom Video Conference. For any questions please contact Colleen Rankine at crankine@chcact.org.

Last week Ken Lalime, CEO at CHCACT, attended the Connecticut 2020 Summit: Disparities in Maternal Child Health. The Summit featured the great work that private, public, and community agencies have done on behalf of vulnerable women and children in our state. The focus is to mobilize and leverage state-wide resources to systematically identify and address racial and ethnic disparities.
In attendance was Guest of Honor Vice-Admiral Surgeon General Jerome Adams, MD.
